Description
The University of West Alabama College of Business is seeking to hire an experienced and dedicated full-time faculty member in statistics and analytics to teach undergraduate courses starting January 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate courses in Business Statistics and Business Analytics.
- Serve as Lead Teacher on assigned courses.
- Work with faculty from various colleges on cross-campus collaboration curricula.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the appropriate administrators.
Qualifications
Essential
- A Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching.
- Ability to teach business statistics and business analytics. Must have 18 graduate hours in related fields, qualified to teach undergraduate statistics courses.
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, faculty, and administration.
- Participate in assessment activities of the college.
Desired:
- Successful college teaching experience.
- Experience teaching both on-campus and online.
- Experience teaching diverse populations.
