As the Associate Director, People Experience Advisors, you will lead a team of People Experience (PX) Advisors who partner with HRBPs and business leaders to shape workforce strategies that drive organizational health and performance. General Summary
The Associate Director, PX Advisors leads a team responsible for advising on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategies aligned to business priorities. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, ensuring that initiatives are data-driven, actionable, and consistently implemented across the organization. This role offers the chance to build on the strengths of an established team, supporting their continued growth as strategic partners and further enhancing consistency and excellence across key talent processes.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Advise, Coach and Develop Team
- Collaborate with PX Advisors to enhance team capabilities and guide their progression toward becoming trusted strategic consultants for the business.
- Build critical HR capabilities across the team including change management, coaching leaders, supporting organization design, and developing deep business acumen
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Drive Business-Driven Talent Strategy Initiatives
- Lead project management for strategic workforce and talent initiatives aligned to business priorities.
- Partner with HRBPs to design and implement solutions addressing critical workforce challenges.
- Establish and enforce consistent standards, processes, and best practices for executing annual performance cycle events (goal setting, mid-year reviews, year-end evaluations, calibrations)
- Develop comprehensive playbooks, toolkits, and communication templates to ensure uniform execution across all functions
- Establish and Proactively Monitor Organizational Health Metrics
- Equip the team with frameworks and tools to diagnose issues, spot patterns, and translate findings into actionable strategies.
- Provide insights that inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate Feedback Loops
- Conduct ongoing feedback sessions to assess progress, identify gaps, and refine approaches.
Required Experience
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategy. Recent experience designing automated HR solutions using Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a plus.
- Prior HR Business Partner (HRBP) experience
- Strong background in data analysis and translating insights into actionable strategies.
Required Knowledge/Skills
- Expertise in workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategy.
- Ability to lead and coach a team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills to partner effectively with senior leaders.
- Proficiency in HR analytics tools and project management methodologies.
- Strong business acumen and ability to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
Required Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Pay Range:
$140,000 - $210,000
Disclosure Statement:
The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Flex Eligibility Status:
In this Hybrid-Eligible role, you can choose to be designated as:
1. Hybrid: work remotely up to two days per week; or select
2. On-Site: work five days per week on-site with ad hoc flexibility.
Note: The Flex status for this position is subject to Vertex's Policy on Flex @ Vertex Program and may be changed at any time.
